The owner of 95 at Parks and Carne SA, Giorgio Nava is an acclaimed Italian chef who grew up in Milan. Here he made his apprenticeship with the most renowned chefs after showing interest in fine cuisine from a very young age.

Having fallen in love with Cape Town during a fishing trip, in 1999 he relocated and in 2003 he opened his first restaurant 95 Keerom, which quickly became a landmark for locals and visitors alike and went on to be the runner-up in the Africa and Middle East category in the 2011 International Birra Moretti Best Authentic Italian Restaurant Awards.

Amongst his many other awards, Giorgio’s Pasta World Champion Title stands out. This he won in Parma, Italy, in 2013 with his Cavatelli with broccoli cream and oregano flowers, after winning second place the previous year.

Central to Giorgio’s cuisine is the use of highest quality local and imported ingredients and an interest in rediscovering the simplicity and authenticity of the Italian culinary tradition, and more specifically of the Northern Italian cuisine.

The successor of 95 Keerom, 95 at Parks is located in beautiful Constantia with amazing views over the valley.

Here you can expect fine Italian dining at its highest level, from slow cooked lamb ravioli to the crisp squid and calamari starters, not to mention outstanding grilled top cuts and fresh fish.
Desserts such as the liquid centre white and dark chocolate fondant are not to be missed.
