Mother of War Jewellery was born from the creative vision of Matilde Marengo.
A line of handcrafted jewellery inspired by Minerva, goddess of the just war, but also protector of ingenuity, the arts and craftsmen.
The name Mother of War comes from the meaning of Matilde, from the Germanic Mahthildis which translates as ‘strong in battle’.
Mother of War jewels are aimed at people who know how to express their uniqueness and their inner strength, their independent spirit, their taste for ancient amulets and symbols.
Matilde Marengo in her creative process draws on her Italian legacy, on art, myth and the symbolism of ancient peoples and philosophies that are part of her heritage, to express in her creations a sense of feminine strength.
